I've been saying all along that the reason why people have fingernails is so they can pick their nose. Then someone asked why we have toenails and I didn't know how to respond.
Hm...curious indeed. Maybe we humans used to be super flexible & we used our toenails to pick our belly buttons. That's kinda sick when I really think about it. Thank you for your thought-provoking comment, Metty..
